Happy August, everyone!

For Series 6 of my Photoshop brushes I want to do a lot of things differently and just try a lot of new stuff. Gladius brought some new style to the table with its grungey techno feel, and O Negative was my attempt at a blood splatter set! So now, I bring you Alchemy Brushes, a set of rotationally symmetrical brushes that were inspired by transmutation circles from the anime, Full Metal Alchemist.

So, I just joined a great group called Artist Cooperative. Basically it is a help group for artists. No, not for artists with drinking problems, but for those artists looking to get some help with their drawings... a little criticism if you will.

Scared?!?! No worries, the only kind of criticism you'll be getting is the constructive kind.

Think you're not skilled enough? WRONG . . there is no barrier for skill level. Artists of all years are welcomed.

What if my art doesn't get accepted into the group? TT_TT . .  Well then you did something really weird because all submissions are accepted right away (limited to 5 a day, though). Just as long as you're not submitting someone else's stuff.

Axeraider.com is (for now) my personal website with selections of my art, all my Photoshop Brushes, and blog. I'll be posting new art and brushes there along with posting them here on deviantART. The blog is mostly me talking about changes to the site / new content that is coming out, but occasionally I talk about whatever.

Last time i posted about it here it was just a blog, but now the site has a little more to do. The home page is more fun, for example, showing recent brush and art additions.

The brushes page now has all of my photoshop brush collection as opposed to just Series 5, and clicking on individual brushes will bring you to the page where you can download them and read the descriptions if you so please.

The gallery is fairly simple. It has a small selection of some of my more recent artwork along with descriptions. Clicking on an image will give you a fancy lightbox fullview.
